Love remains the same
“Can’t say we have, given the fact that we’re both Loki,” said Gabriel, raising an eyebrow at his older-looking counterpart. Normally, he’d probably poke fun at the guy, or test the waters to see who was more powerful, but for the sake of the day, he’d make an exception…well, provided the other guy did, of course. The archangel stuck out his hand. “Name’s Gabriel. Part-time Angel of the Lord, full-time Trickster God.”
Quite astonished at the fact that this alternate version of himself hadn’t commented, or rather, completely made fun if his old age yet. Loki felt quite relieved that he needn’t put the man in his place. He grabbed for the man’s hand and gave it a firm shake. “‘Tis good to meet you. As you know, I am Loki, King of Asgard…” Looking to where Hela stood as if waiting for her to say something to make things less awkward. The goddess couldn’t help but laugh as the elder of the two looked towards her “Oh boy, I should have known this would be more than awkward” she shook her head still laughing.
“Yes ok we’ve established that you are both, well sort of, in your own ways Loki, good. Obviously one of you is heavily pregnant and one of you is an angel. There I have broken the silence on your pregnancy father, honestly you are such a girl sometimes” she shook her head once more.
“Ooh, you’re king in your world? And expecting? Busy guy,” Gabriel said with a low whistle. For once, the fact that he was one of Christianity’s winged monkeys wasn’t the biggest elephant in the room. He grinned at Hela. “And here you thought things would be awkward.”
